Artist-designer Selina Narov presents a truly unique combination of art and fashion. Using her original technique to paint on silk, she creates fabrics inspired by nature. With her intuitive sense
of design, her gift of color and technical skills, Selina produces clothing which is a rare combination
of flexibility, fluidity, and texture in designs that are both sensible and comfortable.

Throughout the last decade, Selina has developed new original technique of painting on fabric that
she calls Lynx-Stone, a process that combines monotype printing with painting to produce
unusual, striking colors and pattern. She brought her fine art background, experience in the 3-D design
and expertise in textile to the world of fashion. Ms. Narov has created signature pieces of art couture clothing in numerous collestions using her own unique painted fabric.

Selina Narov's fabric designs have been occuered for the collections by such famous names as Mary McFadden, Oscar de la Renta, and Tosca Couture.

She is a member of The USEA (United South End Artists) of Boston; and SPIN (Silk painters international).

		Each one-of-a-kind design is painted on pure silk through a unique process mixing techniques from monotype printing and painting. The accidental patterns are somewhat unpredictable and characteristics of this technique.
